South Africa: Public Dialogue On The Debate On Homosexuality In Africa PlannedAugust 18, 2014
CAPETOWN, SOUTH AFRICA
A public debate on homosexuality in Africa has been organised for August 20 to discuss the current situation of homosexuals in African countries.
Organised by the Centre for Conflict Resolution (CCR) Cape Town, the debate will feature prominent South African LGBTI activists and personalities.
It will be chaired by Thomas Ndayiragije, Senior Programme Officer for Africa for the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission (IGLHRC).
Speakers will include noted photojournalist, Zanele Muholi and Zakhele Mbhele, one of the first openly gay South African Member of Parliament.
