The International Centre for Advocacy on Rights to Health – ICARH, an indigenous non-profit, non-governmental, sexual minority organization providing Healthcare and Human Rights Services to members of Key
Affected Populations in the FCT. Our scope of intervention is focused on improving the standard of
living, health and well being of the sexual minority population in the FCT

ICARH is calling for application for the following positions:

1.      Account and Admin Officer(A&A)

The purpose of this role is to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine and maintain record of assets, liabilities, and other financial activities within the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

*       Coordinate project finance in accordance to line objectives and
other technical requirements
*       Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial
statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy,
completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
*       Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic
*       Keep records of all organizational properties and provide advice
when necessary
*       Execute organizational code of conducts and maintain all admin records
*       Facilitate fund processing including requests/disbursements
*       Liaise with the management team on technical issues
*       Develop budget for project proposals within deadlines
*       Maintain articulate communication with donors
*       Provide internal auditing services for management.
*       Liaise with external auditors.
*       Execute other organizational assignment in line with accounting and
admin procedures.
*       Provide updates and reports to the Executive Director

Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum qualification is a Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Accounting 2-5 years cognate experience in Accounting or NGO work experience Age 25: -35 years

– Ability to work with an organizational principle based on equality
and non discrimination
– Ability to work within short deadlines
– Excellent use of basic accounting software

2.      Programs Manager (PM)

The purpose of this role is to design programs interventions and facilitation of the achievement of key programs activities and objectives within project deadlines

Duties and Responsibilities:

*       Coordinate and Develop project proposals and strategic reports
including press releases/position papersand delver at fixed deadlines
*       Conduct research and capacity building for staff members
*       Represent the interest of the management in strategic meetings
*       Review programmatic interventions and provide logical advice to the
management team
*       Execute institutional programs in line with set project objectives
*       Facilitate training workshop  in collaboration with other project staff
*       Manage and secure all project records
*       Liaise with donors on the progress of programs implementation
*       Execute all other programmatic assignment.
*       Report to the Executive Director

Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum qualification is a Bachelor’s Degree/HND in any Social Sciences or related field 2-5 years cognate experience in the developmental field (NGO)

Age 25: -35 years

Added Advantage:

– Experience of development of winning proposals
– Ability to work with an organizational principle based on equality
and non discrimination
– Experience of working with Key Population or NGO
– Ability to work within short deadlines
– Excellent use of basic programming software; Excel, Microsoft Word
and PowerPoint
